Diamond Clarity

What is Diamond Clarity?
Diamond clarity refers to the assessment of internal characteristics, known as inclusions, and external marks, called blemishes. These natural features - often invisible to the naked eye - make each diamond unique. The fewer and less visible the inclusions, the higher the clarity grade and the more rare and valuable the diamond becomes.
How is a Diamonds Clarity Graded?
Diamond clarity is graded by examining the stone under 10x magnification by a trained gemologist, who assesses the number, size, position, and nature of inclusions and blemishes. These tiny, natural markings - often referred to as nature’s fingerprints - make each diamond one-of-a-kind. Most inclusions are microscopic and do not affect a diamond’s beauty or durability, but fewer or less visible inclusions result in a higher clarity grade and greater value.
