Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals

Everyday activities like applying sunscreen, makeup, aerosols, creams, washing your hands, or using hairspray can expose your jewellery to chemicals that may dull or damage metal settings. Perfume & makeup can leave a film over your diamonds and dull its sparkle. To keep your diamond or gold pieces looking their best, avoid contact with harsh chemicals, rough surfaces, and extreme environments. 

We recommend avoiding wearing your diamond jewellery while swimming, as salt water and chlorine can damage the metal over time and may affect the integrity of the setting or alloy. To preserve the beauty and longevity of your piece, always remove your jewellery before entering the ocean or pool.

Remove when doing activities 

Affinity Diamonds uses high-quality materials designed to last. Handle with Care

When putting on your ring, ensure to hold the either side of the band, rather than placing your finger on the main diamond. This is for two reasons, placing your finger on the diamond will leave a finger print due to oils and dirt, and if done constantly will put pressure on your diamond setting.
